For years and years I've had a stiff neck. I've seen chiropractors, osteopaths, physical therapists, naturopaths, massage therapists. I've done Pilates. I've done so much Pilates that I became a Stott certified Pilates instructor. You name it, I've tried it. I actually found Dr. Kara through Pilates. Dr. Kara has been such a lifesaver for my overall health and wellness. My husband is going through cancer treatment, and the stress from it causes a lot of aches and pains to build up in various parts of my body (usually neck and shoulders). Since coming to see Dr. Kara, a lot of the persistent pain that I had just resigned myself to believing was chronic, has been resolved. She’s also a big proponent of a multi-disciplinary approach and is encouraging of me having things like massage, yoga and/or Pilates as part of my routine as well which I really appreciate!
