I found Dr Scoppa to help with my progressive TMD after doing a lot of research on the latest literature with regard to TMD/TMJ. Dr Scoppa is the rare Dr who REALLY knows what his is doing and why (and can explain it all) in a challenging field where many do not. He listens to patients with compassion, is an excellent communicator and goes the extra mile to help. He is passionate about what he does and is in a continual process of educating himself about all that is evolving in his field - truly a full time job in and of itself as it impacts and involves every part of our being. I could not recommend him more highly!!!
I was recommended to Dr. Jason Scoppa by a good friend who thought he may be able to help me with my jaw pain. (TMJ) I was in terrible pain, and was scared that I may need surgery or a very expensive appliance to help me. From the beginning, it was clear that Dr. Scoppa understood the source of my pain and made an immediate and practical plan to help me. Within a few visits, I was feeling much better. I truly was amazed how Dr. Scoppa was able to pin point and explain exactly what my issue was and how he could help. He is very knowledgeable, professional and kind. It is also very apparent that he is passionate about helping people. I would recommend him to anyone who...read full review
Dr. Scoppa is really quite amazing. After 3 years living with terrible pain in my left ear and left side of face, and seeing over 20 specialists, I finally found a physician who recommended Dr. Scoppa. Dr. Scoppa was very thorough and patient. He really listened. He was able to tell I have a genetic disorder and spent quite a bit of time notifying my doctors. He was also able to assist with treating the pain. When I told my sport and spine doctor about Dr. Scoppa, I thought she might dismiss his findings as he is not an "MD". Instead, she was very impressed and now refers patients to him. The office is easy to get to, ample parking.
