Dr. Schuster has been my Father's physician for 1.5 years now. I credit him with substantially improving my Dad's health and the concierge approach has been indispensable in navigating a number of emergencies and inescapable burps of American healthcare provenance. He has connected us to a number of wonderful specialists. Should my Mother join us out here in Seattle, I will certainly pay extra for total family concierge service--I will likely do it regardless because I think it will benefit the younger folks in my Family, too.
Dr. Schuster has been my PCP for years now. Through that time he has consistently shown compassion and understanding of my complicated medical condition. Before Dr. Schuster started caring for me a saw other top internists, but none understood there was a unifying cause for my signs or symptoms. Each problem was treated as if it was a stand alone event, even as they became increasingly serious. Dr. Schuster carefully looked at my history and rapidly ran tests and sent me for some specialized evaluations. After years of going from one medical problem to the next, he looked at the totality and realized, unlike the others, there was in underlying previously undiagnosed condition responsible for virtually all my varied illnesses and symptoms. Finally treatment could be undertaken. He has carefully and thoughtfully explained and provided care to me and my family, without regard to personal inconvenience. Through my care with him I've been able to get my symptoms under control for the most part. He always has the time explain my health and care plan in detail. He is always up to date on the latest medical knowledge. He stays up to date on the latest research. When I was ill he came the the Emergency Department and called ahead to make sure I was expected and they knew my condition. When I was admitted to the hospital he came to visit me on a Sunday, even though he wasn't my admitting physician and my condition required care at a hospital with a specialized inpatient department not available where he has privileges. He has a wonderful staff and they know me by name. His office has a great location and easy parking in the building. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Schuster and his staff: his care knowledge and support have hugely improved my quality of life. I can't recommend Dr. Schuster highly enough.
I've been a patient of Dr. Schuster for nearly 20 years, and in my opinion he does a top-notch job. He is attentive, thorough, has a fine grasp of what's needed to keep active, healthy and doing the best one can with what one has, a game of diminishing returns. His concierge care program is unusual but effective, and I have never lacked all the attention needed. Dr. Schuster is caring, personable, genuinely empathetic and intelligent as a physician. I recommend Dr. Schuster very highly.
