“Several years ago, I was experiencing such severe back pain as well as right Sciatic Nerve pain going down my right leg that it required my going to the ER on a Thursday night. A MRI showed I had L4-L5 Degenerative Disc Disease with bone to bone contact and a Cyst on my right Sciatic Nerve. I was immediately scheduled to see an Orthopedic Neuro Surgeon that Monday. The next day I had an out of town family emergency that required my help and I was gone for 2 1/2 months with such severe pain that I was using a walker to get around. Upon my return home, for some reason I was not keen on going directly to seeing an Orthopedic Neurosurgeon and decided to try Acupuncture first. I received 10 treatments by Dr. Hu with great results and, as of today, two years later, I am still free of the Back as well as the Sciatic Nerve pain. I am seeing her again today for another issue and feel hopeful that the results will be as good as my last visit. I have referred her to many of my friends not only due to her 28+ years of knowledge and experience but also because of her compassion to help all of her patients by sticking with them for as long as it takes to get to the bottom of their problems. That is more than I can say about the medical care we are receiving nowadays from some our medical professionals due in part to our Insurance Companies as well as lack of enough medical professionals to deal with the high demands of so many ill people and Insurance Companies refusing coverage. Dr Hu’s rates and copayments are reasonable and, fortunately for me, Acupuncture is still being accepted by my Insurance Company.“

“I’ve worked a desk job in tech for 14 years and was having migraines at work weekly and sometimes even multiple times per week. At first I thought it was caused by burnout and I worried I might need to take a leave of absence when I noticed massaging my neck gave some temporary relief. My wife recommended I try acupuncture. In the first consultation Dr Su identified the root cause immediately and mentioned she had treated this sort of issue frequently in her past patients.

It’s been a gradual process but with the acupuncture and cupping sessions, the headaches reduced in frequency after a few weeks and stopped completely after a few months. She also gave me tips to do outside of the acupuncture sessions. There were days I felt a headache coming on at the start of the session but after the tension was gone. There were other days I was under a lot of stress at work but Dr Su gave me some herbal patch at the end of the session that provided strong relief.

I’m still seeing Dr Su but now for eczema since the grass pollen season has been fairly bad this year. She’s given me Chinese herbal medicine grinded up into powder which has been a lot cheaper than the Chinese herbs I bought from other traditional Chinese doctors in the Bellevue and bel-red areas in the past.

All-in-all I’d highly recommend this place!“
