Mitchell Lumber Co is a great little ma & pa kind of store off the beaten track. It offers excellent lumber, decent prices, and a very nice selection of hardwoods. The staff is friendly, helpful, professional, kind, and courteous, providing good communication and going the extra mile. They are known for their attention to detail, especially with accurate takeoffs and lumber packages. The store is clean and orderly. While not a big store with a huge selection, it has a little bit of everything and beats the big chains on quality and service.
Off the beaten track but #2 tries harder. Excellent lumber, decent prices, and has definitely gone the extra mile for us to ensure repeat business. As of right now, I wouldn't use anyone else. The big chains sell the lowest quality at top dollar prices. You'll get the products from Mitchell you used to be used to seeing. Great friendly, helpful staff too.
Tina and Curtis really make our takeoffs a breeze.I was extremely impressed at the level of detail that went into what I get for my lumber packages. We do a ton of additions and with lumber pricing the way it is, takeoffs being accurate is mandatory.If your looking for attention to detail and good communication, look no further.
The people at Mitchell Lumber Co were very friendly, very helpful & answered every question we had, as well as helped us load everything up on the top of my SUV. I couldn't have asked for more.
