Had HC come out last year and perform an annual furnace service and inspection. The tech was good and professional. So, I signed up for the annual maintenance plan/club, so I could be a preferred customer for my next annual service. Paid a fair amount of extra money to sign up. Just tried to connect with the company today to schedule my service call. No answer on any of their listed phones or locations. I find out from a competitor that they have gone out of business. So, myself, and any other customers that signed up for their "plan/club" got conned out of a whole lot of money. Not real happy about being conned. I will be following up with the Washington Attorney General's office to file a complaint.

After installation I noticed air leaking out of the heating unit in the garage. I informed them and they never responded. Also, they installed a supposedly high efficiency NEW 19 seer heat pump and air handler my energy bill has never been higher! This is even after I took out our hot tub so that energy usage isn’t there any more. The company won’t answer their phones and won’t return calls. I am at a loss! Possible attorney action? HC Heating owned by Tad and Stephanie Reasons of Gig Harbor (now divorced) is a ponzi scheme that took customer deposits for months after they were insolvent and then shut down, leaving customers in the lurch. They are being investigated by the department of labor and industries. There are claims against the shuttered companies that are a multiple of their bond, which means that the customers they defrauded are basically out of luck.
