Washington Motorcycle Safety Training (WMST) has been providing motorcycle endorsement training and testing for over a decade in WA. They offer courses for both two and three-wheel motorcycles. The instructors are known for their professionalism, knowledge, and engaging teaching style. During the classes, students experience a good mix of structured training, interactive discussion, on-vehicle exercises, and helpful feedback from knowledgeable instructors. Even in challenging weather conditions, instructors remain enthusiastic and patient, explaining everything clearly and answering questions with a supportive attitude. The environment is relaxed yet serious, helping students feel comfortable and confident. Many students have praised the instructors for making the learning experience enjoyable and fun, with some highlighting the excellent teaching skills of instructors like Chuck, Aaren, Nick, Anand, and Misha. The instructors are committed to helping students succeed as motorcyclists, emphasizing safety, practical skills, and confidence-building. The training not only prepares students for the test but also sets them up for long-term success on the road.
I had a great experience taking the 2 day permit class and test recently with LeRoy and Chuck. The only other motorcycling experience I had coming in was the kickstart class the week before with Cyndi. I believe that kickstart class is 100% worth it if you have little experience. All 3 are amazing instructors- I would prioritize taking a class with them if you are considering registering. 10/10. 5 stars. They are perfect ambassadors for motorcycling.
This is such an important class and I wish it was required of everyone learning to ride a motorcycle! I came in with zero experience (except backpacking) and learned so, so much.
The instructors are incredible and it's clear how much they want everyone in their classes to succeed. It's obvious that they're passionate not just about riding, but also teaching and inspiring those around them to be safer and smarter riders.

Attended a 1 day intermediate permit qualifying course. It was a great time and welcoming. The instructors were knowledgeable and wanted to ensure you can pass by speaking with you and guiding you for improvement. Follow the instructions and be serious about riding. If you have not ridden a manual motorcycle and have ridden scooters, I would recommend using scooters they have instead of trying to rapidly learn manual shifting on a motorcycle. Take the fundamentals and beginners courses.
