Washington Motorcycle Safety Training (WMST) has been providing motorcycle endorsement training and testing for over a decade in WA. They offer courses for both two and three-wheel motorcycles. I recently took the beginner permit course through WMST and had an amazing experience. My instructors were James and Leroy, and I honestly could not have asked for a better team. They were the perfect balance of stern and supportive, which I think is extremely important when teaching something as dangerous and serious as motorcycling. They made sure everyone stayed safe and followed instructions, but they were never overly harsh or intimidating to the point where people felt uncomfortable. They were also funny, caring, and genuinely wanted everyone to succeed.

I had never ridden a motorcycle before in my life, but thanks to the outstanding Motorcycle Safety class offered by WMST, I was able to pass both my knowledge exam and permit test with a perfect score of 0 negative points!
The instructors, James and LeRoy, were absolutely fantastic.
They were incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and made the entire course engaging and easy to follow. Their teaching style really helped me build confidence from zero experience, and they explained everything clearly — from the basics to the more detailed safety concepts. I took the Kickstart class and it was the first time I've ever rode a motorcycle. James Winston was phenomenal in making the experience instructive and especially helped me build confidence in riding motorcycles!
