Gold Star Dog School is a comprehensive dog training and daycare facility owned and operated by Terri Kaluza. The school offers a wide range of services, including puppy training, basic obedience, competition obedience, rally, nosework, behavior consultations, K9 fitness training, private training, board and train, doggie daycare, facility rentals, and in-home training. The basic obedience classes are also held in Enumclaw. Clients have had positive experiences with the knowledgeable and caring staff, who work closely with both dogs and their owners to help them communicate and find their dog's motivations. The dogs are always excited to visit the daycare, and the staff is enthusiastic about greeting them. The facility is spacious and clean, and the dogs have shown significant improvement in various training programs. Customers have highly recommended the trainers and the overall experience at Gold Star Dog School.
I took my lab puppy through obedience classes with Terri back in 2006. I was so happy to find her again in 2021 and get my new Goldendoodle puppy into training classes. We did numerous puppy social hours with Jean, as well as puppy kindergarten and beginning obedience withe Jean. Archie also attended doggy daycare during the week. We learned so much about working together as a team. I was so sad to move across the state a few months ago, as I have not been able to find a training program that lives up to Gold Star and is a good fit for my dog. Highly recommend Terri and her team at Gold Star for any dog training needs!
Terri is a great, positive trainer and makes the sessions fun for the handlers and dogs. My puppy and I are currently in Jean's Puppy Kindergarten. I've done lots of Puppy Kindergartens over the years but this is my first time in Jean's class. I was very impressed with how well she read and assessed each puppy's comfort level and body language. She used space and ex-pens to keep each puppy/handler team safe and comfortable, setting us all up for success. I've already recommended her class to two friends who are expecting puppies soon.
We have been bring Rosie to Gold Star for more than a year. She goes to Full day day camp usually 2 times a week. The improvement in her behavior and decrease in her reactive behavior has been incredible. Thank you Terri, Taylor and all of the staff for helping Rosie become an incredible pet!
