Jacob delivered one of the best haircuts I've ever had. Initially I had stopped in unannounced (travelling through the Pacific Northwest in our small travel trailer on vacation from Florida) and he was booked, but he took my cell number in case he had a cancellation. He called a little later and squeezed me in. Jacob has a great shop. He is friendly and an excellent barber. The cut included a hot neck towel, an upper back / shoulder / head massage and a straight razor neck shave. The tab for the cut was $18 - the best value ever. I highly recommend Jacob and highly recommend after your awesome cut to tip him generously.

My husband, son and I were staying at a cabin in the area and in need of hair cuts. Jacob was AMAZING! From the moment you walk in, and are greeted by his dog, you feel at home, like you're visiting a friend. Jacob went above and beyond lining up my husband, trimming his mustache and beard. You can tell he is a perfectionist! My son was up next and had a few specific requests which Jacob checked, and double checked before he started. He totally nailed it and my son was SOOOO happy. (He's normally hard to please) Both my husband and son were treated with a hot towel, straight razor shave, followed by a back massage. Jacob's barbershop has great word of mouth reviews around town. My first experience with Jacob was very professional and very nice. I had scheduled an appointment with him Two days after I called which is very quick since other shops I called were weeks out. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get my hair cut that day due to a unforseen illness but Jacob called me personally and offered compensation at my next haircut. I would highly recommend Jacob's Barbershop if your visiting or live near Ashford Area.
