We drive an hour for Shady Hills! They really get to know the dogs and what dogs like to play together and hang out together while their human parents are away! We highly highly recommend!

I cannot recommend this place enough! I started coming to SHCC 3 years ago with a pup that had issues. She was fear-reactive and didn’t play well with others. Kathy put my mind at ease and Althea did incredibly well here. Fast forward to 2022 and I now bring my girl here. I love the fact that the dogs have access to outdoor runs on their own and don’t have to pee indoors on cement painted green (I was REALLY concerned about my dog learning it was okay to pee inside). If you worry a bit too much about your dog when you’re away and question if anyone can care for them like you, I truly believe SHCC is the closest you’ll come to finding that care. Kathy and Gita love dogs and are excellent carers for your pup at their home from home. As experienced dog owners they can handle all sorts of dogs and their unique personalities!Each dog has a private indoor kennel, private outside but covered kennel and daily access to one of four large grassy play areas.Our two Great Pyrenees always run in tails wagging when they’re dropped off there.Highly recommend this place
