No one really wanted to deal with the steep riverbank in front of my home along the West Branch of the Little River in Stowe, VT. However, Bill and his crew from Aardvark Excavating came in and did the job. It requited building a road down across the riverbank, and then reinforcing the hillside with massive boulders. Then, to top it all off, a row of flat granite blocks from the Rock of Ages Quarry were positioned to cap off the project.
Great work under difficult conditions, and the 'rock wall' has held up beautifully despite the repeated flooding that has recently occurred in Vermont.
Absolutely recommend Aardvark Excavating! Scope of work performed: building privacy berms, resurfacing, re-grading and shaping driveway and RV pad, dug new holes for new trees. Precision dumping with side-dumps and tandems around my existing trees and other obstacles. Super skilled, of course - but you can really tell these guys love their job and operate their equipment with exceptional skill! Really, really top-notch!
