He took his time and thoughtfully listened to me as I described my eye problem, and then had the expertise to completely resolve my double vision with a correct eyeglass Rx containing a prism. At first glance, an eye doctor’s office located inside a large retail store might not be what people associate with highly personalized care. My recent experience at Walmart Vision in Williston, VT, however, completely changed that assumption.
After a couple of experiences that didn’t quite meet my needs, I decided to try this office—and I’m very glad I did. Booking an appointment was easy, with availability just a few days out. When I arrived, there was no waiting line, and the new-patient paperwork/process was handled quickly and efficiently.
Dr Werner was exceptionally caring and professional. She took the time to review images of my eyes and explain measurements in a detailed and gentle way, inviting questions and making sure everything was clear. The level of attention and care was truly impressive. In fact, if I worked at a medical school as an administrator, I would have invited her to submit an application as an adjunct professor; she would be an exceptional candidate.
Ordering new glasses was just as smooth. Even though I brought my own frames, the staff made the process straightforward, and the glasses were ready in less than a week. Most importantly, they were perfectly on spec.
