When I was a kid, my parents took me to Harlow's mainly for apple picking. We came up from Springfield MA. I brought my youngest kids up from Berkshire County in Western MA twice in the last two weeks. Last week we were picking apples, this week was for the Apple Fest. I am so happy to know that Harlow's is still in business. I hope they stay open for generations to come!
Great orchard,has pick your own apples, various berries. Good prices, nice gift shop. Very gracious, my Dad was to elderly to walk to blueberry bushes, Mr. Harlow himself suggested I drive my Dad in, very thoughtful.
Harlow’s Sugar House in Putney has been making pure Vermont maple syrup since 1928, and it shows in every bottle. The blueberry maple syrup is a standout, and the fudge is genuinely some of the best I’ve had anywhere. If you’re driving through southern Vermont, this is a worthwhile stop.
