Fantastic experience with Horses for Hire! The horses were well-trained and we enjoyed the peaceful trail. Our trail guide, Adam, was knowledgeable and made the ride even more enjoyable. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great day out!

I really enjoyed Melinda and my ride! I visited from CT and what a gorgeous area. I had George and he is slow and steady which I appreciated very much.
Melinda has lived in VT her whole life and works very hard, mostly so tourists or weekenders can enjoy the beautiful serene woods of Vermont. We talked about how funny it is when some folks want to come and want to make changes (or look down on the people who make it possible) when they're fleeing from their own city life to breath some good fresh air and drink pure water.

Oh my gosh- what a gem! After getting a day-of cancellation from another riding place, we found Horses for Hire. I called them in the morning, and they squeezed us in that afternoon! The owner is so nice- she even has a small shop with local honey, eggs from chickens on her property, and jam she makes herself! And the instructor/guide was so calming and confident. She made my daughter and I feel comfortable and safe right away. It was a beautiful trail ride- my first time on a horse! Highly recommend .
