In my case, I broke a fall with my arm and tore some tendons in my shoulder in the process. Because one of the tears was complete, the injury would not heal on its own but instead, required surgery.

Following surgery, Kate Leiser guided me through the slow, deliberate process of returning to normal function. She worked on range of motion at first and added in strength when the time came. In addition to home exercises, she provided constant encouragement and knowledge during the long course of healing. Her kindness and competence kept me going at just the right pace.

Six months after the surgery, I was able to do certain tasks I had set as goals for myself. Best of all, I could go for a row!
