I have been the fortunate recipient of excellent care from Dr. Phil and all of his vets for 15 years. From the front desk to the ICU, I have experienced every facet of this practice at one time or another and have always been met with the same level of care and compassion no matter the circumstance. I recently moved to Ocala, Florida ( the horse capital of the world where there is a vet on every corner) and still refer back to Dr Phil to give me advice. My young horse arrived at VLAC at 1 AM in a critical state with double pleural pneumonia, an unexpected complication of a serious laceration she suffered a week before. She spent the next 6 days fighting for her life with the best team a horse could ever have. She had round-the-clock care, the benefit of consults with experts at Cornell, and vets who were willing to think out-of-the-box. Throughout this ordeal, Drs. Phil, Abby, and Alex, as well as Vet Tech Sam, kept me up-to-date with her progress and care.
