My Morgan gelding, age 31, has been boarded at Canterbury for 20+. Yrs. What more can I say? .... well, here goes.... family owned business, Daily turnout in big pastures, fresh water& quality hay, friendly. Atmosphere, indoor & outdoor arenas,owners genuinely love horses,r knowledgeable about medical& general horse care, horses are watched closely for lameness , colic,etc..... safe, fun trails in the woods and fields, lessons are available by experienced trainer... my horse arty and I have become part of the family and we have gotten support and valued advice all these years!

I started riding here when I was five years old, and at the time I had no idea what I was starting, I just knew that I loved horses. Now as I'm turning 20 years old I couldn't be more grateful and appreciative for the experience I've had here at Canterbury, even though there's been a lot of tears and hardships that come with this passion of horses, Shelly Farr has been like a mother to me throughout all these years. She's been by my side telling me to keep my head up with countless horse shows, late night horse show parties, trial rides, endless lessons and finally helping my accomplish my dream of owning my own horse. The memories I've had are unforgettable and I wouldn't be the person I am today with out all the kindness, help and guidance I've received, even when there was times when I didn't necessary deserve it (god knows I can be stubborn). I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else, these stables have been a second home to me and is a place I whole heartedly recommend and continue to bring my friends to, you won't find people more caring and supportive than Shelly Farr and the people here at Canterbury stables.
