The tavern serves great food, including burgers, wings, and Brussels sprouts, along with an impressive selection of local brews. Friendly and extremely helpful staff create a welcoming atmosphere, reminiscent of traditional New England charm. Guests can enjoy various activities, including exploring the nearby town of Burlington, and appreciate the resort's convenient location amidst the mountains. The on-site dining is noted as lovely, and many guests have shared positive experiences about their stays, making The Essex a desired destination for both short getaways and special events.
The room was spotless, comfortable and well maintained through my stay. The staff were incredibly friendly, professional,and always ready to help. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of options.
A very beautiful hotel with an extremely warm and welcoming service. The staff truly care about your comfort. All the amenities are available: a swimming pool, a pool area, restaurants, and a gift shop. Our dog was also wonderfully welcomed.
James and Leticia were very welcoming and helpful. ☺️
Our server Leticia was incredibly attentive and accommodating of my special diet needs. She went above and beyond. We will definitely be back again and hope we Leticia again. However, we will not be ordering chicken in the future.
