About Castle Hill Resort and Spa
Castle Hill Resort and Spa is a charming destination located about 3.5 miles southwest of Ludlow, Vermont. This property, featuring a historic inn built 120 years ago by a former governor, provides a cozy and romantic atmosphere that guests adore. Upon arrival, check-in occurs at "The Pointe at Castle Hill," and guests proceed to the inn, where parking is available either in front of the building or nearby. The inn boasts a large foyer with a lounge area, a fine dining restaurant, and elegantly designed rooms, some with four-poster beds. The rooms are clean and comfortable, although they may have limited electrical outlets and no central air conditioning, but windows can be opened for fresh air. The restaurant is highly recommended for special occasions, with guests praising the exceptional dinner and the expert cocktails in the library. Reservations are required for dinner, and many find it worth the planning and wait. This resort is celebrated for its exquisite and enchanting setting, making it an ideal spot for romantic getaways or family gatherings. Guests have noted the incredible staff, who provide perfect customer service and go above and beyond to assist, even in challenging situations. The outdoor heated sidewalks from the spa to the amazing deep hot tub enhance the experience. However, dining options outside the hotel are limited, especially after recent flooding in Ludlow. Overall, Castle Hill Resort and Spa is known for its magical ambiance, fine service, and excellent location, making it a wonderful choice for visitors seeking a cozy escape in Vermont.
Johanka was amazing, we never knew her role in the hotel, but her customer service was perfect! The room was clean, the bed was super comfortable and even the breakfast was delicious. We will definitely come back
The rooms were clean and the beds were comfy. It was off season for the ski town so not many people were staying in the hotel but it made a great pit stop on our road trip. The staff was friendly and very helpful.
My husband proposed to me at dinner here so it is extra charming to me. It was in the middle of a snowstorm and it felt like we were in a snow globe! The outdoor heated sidewalks from the spa to the amazing deep hot tub is the bomb! The dinner at the dining room requires reservations but expert cocktails in the library ahead, and it is so fancy & delicious that it’s certainly worth the planning and wait! Cannot wait to go again! Stay in the castle!!!
