When I brought my 13yr old dog to them, she was in a bad way. She was having complications due to a biopsy that was performed on her a week prior, her body was just not responding and healing, and her health took a serious turn for the worse. I cannot say enough good things about PARC. They were so kind and supportive. Our Luna's body just was so tired and she was suffering. I was able to contact my husband and we made the decision to let her go. He was able to get our kids on video chat, so they could say their goodbyes. They gave me time and space to do that and I am so grateful. I was such a mess that I didn't remember, where I would come to pick my girl up when she was ready to come back home. I called and they told me not to worry and gave me the information I needed. I will be forever grateful for the kindness and attention given to myself and our Luna. She was our world and they made me feel comfortable and at ease in such an emotional time.
It would be an understatement if I said it was quite wait to get one of my family dogs treated. But prices aside, to get immediate attention on such short notice on a weekend, PARC is the place to go. Staff were welcoming. As I filled out the paperwork, one of them identified his wound that I explained. They explained procedures, answered my question of the duration, and gave me proper medication while suggesting what to do next.
Everyone here at PARC was so thoughtful and compassionate when we had to bring in our 13 year old dog to put her to rest. We came later in the evening and they immediately gave us a room to privately say our goodbyes. They gave us all the time in the world and did not rush us. When we were ready to put her to rest, they went over what to expect and answered all of our questions. After she had passed, they carefully took her away, placed her in a box so we could bury her at home, and even gave us her paw print on a mold. We really appreciated everything they did for us and Pookie during this hard time. Losing a pet is never easy, but they were very supportive and helpful. Thank you for everything PARC!
