I had a particularly vexing problem getting a new RAID 5 external box to recognize in Windows 10 x64. The RAID array was recognized in BIOS but continuing the boot into Windows -- no device recognition. I tried all the usual "fixes" including tech support inquiries with the HighPoint RocketRaid PCIe card manufacturer and Sans Disc, the RAID enclosure manufacturer. Nothing worked. I happened by Custom Computers while driving to Winchester on Route 11. From entering the shop I could tell these guys were REAL geeks without the big-store squad. After several hours spanning a few days: Issue resolved. The price for the fix: very modest. The friendliness of the staff: very good. I highly recommend them for issues small to complex.
I've dealt with Custom for years. I recently had Custom build me a pc with a solid-state hard drive and a big monitor. I'm thrilled with it. They've always done good repair work for me, too.
