    I have been going to this place since I was a teenager, now they sent me a letter saying my insurance is no longer in their network. That just blows. I should have left when Dr. Gillespie retired.

    Didn’t even make it through scheduling my first eye exam with the Waynesboro EyeOne before encountering what I call an uninformed/disengaged/borderline rude employee. I went online to schedule an appointment. You are required to select why you want the appointment. I chose “eye exam”. There is also a section for comments. I stated that I hadn’t had an eye exam in a long time and was having eye discomfort that I needed to speak with a doctor about. The reply I got back was that if I was having eye problems, the only thing a doctor will do is tell me I need to be seen, they do not do anything over the phone.     This review will post probably about the location in Waynesboro. There are three other locations that I have used.First of all, the staff. They are ALWAYS helpful and most courteous. That says a lot about the offices! If the staff is happy, give credit to management, and these folks are fabulous!Further, Dr. Lawrence did cataract surgery for me. Again, I would recommend him! Straight up kinda doctor, and he has a great personality! What a treat to have such reliably great service!
