    Started a couple months ago, so far it’s a good place to start but I have to say they are not strict enough with discipline for my liking, at least from what I have observed but my child enjoys going to class and ultimately that’s what matters at the moment. But from a constructive criticism wouldn’t hurt my feelings if they were stricter to combat the some of the parental inadequacies.And in complete fairness I have noticed a slight improvement so maybe it’s a progressive scale as the year goes on.     I put my son in karate several months ago because we live in a world full of bullies. Not only has he improved his manners, he has gained so much more confidence. From a shy boy, he is now made a lot of new friends. The instructors are second to none and genuinely care about the students. I highly recommend this for any ages.

    We started with Frank and Michelle in 2005, right after we moved to Virginia. Our son had been taking classes in NY and we wanted for him to have the consistency. Little did we know that he would be diagnosed as being on the autism spectrum, having adhd, and anxiety. Frank has taken the time to encourage my son and help him improve his focus so that he has completed the children's classes and is now a purple belt in the adult class. Not only that, but he has also been teaching my daughter for several years as well, and she has progressed through the children's classes and is currently a green belt in the adult class.
