“We contracted Virginia Outdoor Restoration to replace an aging wooden deck. Scott patiently talked us through several options and continued to modify our designs to find a solution that exceeded even what we thought was possible on our budget. Scott didn't just build us a typical stone patio, he totally transformed our backyard space with a multi-tiered patio including surrounding garden beds. His attention to detail and meticulous craftsmanship can't be overstated (he even matched the angles of the protruding breakfast nook when constructing the patio steps and perimeter). Normally I'm the type to do things myself because I've found a hired hand doesn't seem to care about my home as much as I do, but Scott is the diamond in the rough who won't stand for less than perfect (I personally watched him select each paver with intention and match up side-by-side retaining wall block patterns before carefully placing each with precision levelness, and occasionally saw him undue rows that didn't look just right after being placed together). It's for this reason that I am asking Virginia Outdoor Restoration back to build a fire pit area and water feature. I'd recommend them to anyone.“

He included a custom-designed bench that is beautiful and functional and makes the area more visible so that vehicles don't get too close. His crew is busy and it may take him a wile to get to your project, but the quality of the work is worth the wait.“
