Elmwood Vet Clinic is a clean and friendly facility with reasonable prices. The staff provides a safe environment for pets, ensuring a great recovery from surgeries. They are efficient in diagnosis and provide necessary medications. It's best to call ahead due to their busy schedule. The clinic is highly recommended for their excellent services and prompt response to calls.
We just had our 3rd stray cat neutered and vaccinated in order to bring them inside to join our menagerie. Elmwood Vet Clinic has been fabulous every time. They’re kind and compassionate, and the cost for their services is more than reasonable.
Although this place is a little old school, I REALLY liked the vet. She is brusque in speech (not rude, just to the point) but honestly the best experience I've had. She neutered my brachycephalic cat (A Persian so not always easiest to desex) and it was the cleanest incision I've ever had on a cat. He healed fast, and she has good prices. They are cash only but she cares about the animals and you can tell. I've gone to a lot of different vets, even Emergency vets because i have anxiety over my cats health, and since I arrived in NC shes the best vet I've came across.
Would like her more if she had a good bedside manner, like speaking to the animals, maybe they would be less afraid of her. I love veterinarians that speak to animals ( their patients).. prices are reasonable, I will still recommend her. Just wish she would be more attentive to the animals. When she is not in a good mood it shows. She is very honest though, so can't complain too much.
