Being new to Surry they are the “corner store” for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and family size orders. If you can catch the desserts you are in for a treat. Everyone who works here is pleasant and the environment is warm and welcoming.
I had fried chicken and it was some of the best I've ever eaten! My son enjoyed a BBQ sandwich and he thought it was delicious. For dessert, i had the Oreo cookie parfait and it was a real treat. Do yourself a favor, stop by, and grab some food!
This is a great place for a short break or rest stop when riding motorcycles when doing the 5 and dime route, they have all types of drinks and chips and other purchase items and short order food items, a couple of outdoor picnic tables would be nice for bikers to sit for a break, autos use this area for gas and touring the local area, this place is a short distance to the free ferry to Jamestown. The people inside are down home and friendly. Will stop by here again when in the area.
