Shout out to Dodson Heating & Air Conditioning 540-668-6785 We were told by another company that our AC needed replaced after saying they tried replacing the capacitor and quoted $18k for a new system. Mike Dodson just fixed it by replacing the capacitor and added a pound of Freon all in about 15 minutes. (The previous company said that they tried and failed with a new capacitor; they said the system was fried from an electrical surge. Then they left us to cook in the 100 degree heat over the weekend.) A couple of years ago Mike’s brother came out and fixed our heater. He only charged me $75 for a trip since the fix was so easy. He could have easily made some stuff up to pad the bill, but didn’t. We’ve been lucky to find several honest family businesses in Western Loudoun. Dodson Heating & Air Conditioning is a gem.

These folks are simply the best. Responsive, professional, and knowledgeable. My A/C went out on Saturday, and Michael was out on Monday to diagnose the problem and promptly fix it. Thank you!
