Troy, Dave and all the workers at Stuart’s Contracting are amazing! I just moved in to the VA area and needed help with my home. They built me a bedroom, bathroom and game room in my basement, added a deck with a shed underneath(with electricity), painted the whole house, and most recently made my shower larger with better glass. They are so professional and extremely helpful! They are always willing to help and are just a pleasure to be around. They will be doing my parents sunroom coming up. I can’t thank them for all the work they have done for me already! I highly recommend them to anyone with any home projects big or small!
Recently we had Stuart's Contracting screen in our patio under our rain proofed deck - we got 5 bids and they beat them all - I was leery at first so I checked them out on other sites and found several glowing recommendations. They are a small but very professional operation - the owner, Troy Stuart, came out within a few days and looked over the project, took dimensions and made some recommendations - and said he would get back to me with a quote within a few days. Three days later I had my quote. He sent a crew out, who showed up on time, did the job with meticulous attention to detail, installing the Screenez screening system, a splineless system that uses a finishing vinyl (white) to minimize having to have smaller panels or cross sections, resulting in what I would call a panoramic, clear view, like the screen is not even there. The screening material is a special (a bit pricey) material that is very forgiving - should your pet run into the screen (as ours did the first time she went out) it just bounces them off and returns within minutes to it's tensioned state. It's very new technology using carbon fibers if I recall correctly. 3 days later the job was done and looks great. I would highly recommend you get a quote from Troy Stuart if you want a professional AND reasonably priced job. They also do bookshelves, build decks and other home related projects. My only experience is with screening however they do have a foreman that shows up on the job first thing and returns to check on progress, with an emphasis on homeowner satisfaction.
