Colonial K-9 is a highly recommended kennel and dog training facility in Stafford. Clients appreciate the great care and service their dogs receive, as well as the knowledgeable and friendly training staff. The facility is clean and spacious, making it a comfortable place for pets. However, there are some concerns about the introduction process for new dogs in daycare. Clients have mixed experiences, with some praising the fair pricing and the staff's dedication, while others have raised issues about billing practices and lack of communication. Overall, the facility provides good care for the dogs, but improvements in customer service and transparency could enhance the overall experience.
Our dogs have been boarded with the Colonial K9 crew 10+ times over the past year. I never have worried about their well-being and our dogs were with them during the icepocalypse we had in January! They treat our pups like family and their rates are unbeatable. The staff is friendly and animal-loving and are willing to help in any way that they can to make your pups feel at home. The kennel is very climate controlled and comfortable and they are super organized with each client’s items. Highly recommend!!
Great Agility class
I was a little nervous leaving my dog since she’s used to being at home and doesn’t have much outside socialization, but the team at Colonial K-9 completely put my mind at ease. From the start, they were patient, attentive, and truly cared about making her comfortable. They even sent us cute photos while she was there, which was such a thoughtful touch and really helped put us at ease.
I also love that they offer Sunday pickup, it made scheduling so much more convenient. When I picked her up, she was happy, well-cared for, and had no transition or adjustment needed when she got home. I could tell she had been given a lot of love and attention during her stay.
