They care more about their patients than any “normal” hospital. Service 10, facilities 7 (the government needs to put some money in so that the building can be cosmetically improved). Skills 10, attitude 12!

They have been taking care of my medical issues since 1991. All types of care, there are some really great people who work there. If you are a Veteran of the US armed forces I highly recommend you go through the process of getting your VA rating and get the medical care you have earned.

My father was a Korean War vet. When he was diagnosed with cancer, the SVAMC gave him one of the most expensive cancer meds there was. I thank them for the willingness to spend their budget on him.
