During the session, extra care is taken for newborn comfort with items like a sound machine and space heater, and the session is flexible to the family's needs.

The Senior Portraits Melissa took for my son turned out amazing. The whole experience was more than I could have imagined. Her thoughtful questions and guidance helped us know what we needed to bring, what to wear, all the things. She knows the areas well and captured amazing images that felt authentic to who my son is today, so we can remember this important time in his life. My son enjoyed it too, which I wasn't sure about going into this. One of my favorite pictures of him now hangs on my wall. Left on my own, it probably would still be sitting in a folder on my computer, but Melissa also provided printed copies of the best ones - so now I get to look at it every day.… read full review

Melissa is a top notch professional creating lasting memories for our family. We have used Mindful Light Photography for both of our children's birth photos as well as family portraits. She has a way of capturing moments in ways I can't even describe. She took the most wonderful photos and we could not have been happier. Would 100% recommend for your photo sessions!

Melissa has done my son’s basketball photos for years and her work is amazing! Going above and beyond what is expected is her normal!
Zayden loved the poster with all of the action shots from the game and absolutely loved that you had it framed for him before you went out of your way on a Saturday to deliver it to him! You’re a gem Melissa! Thank you 💯 ❤️
