My 5 year old loves seeing Samantha for her hair care. She is wonder with my little girl, takes her time and is extremely patient with her. She also answers all my hair care questions and provides great education on caring for my little ones curls.

Samantha is the QUEEN of the curl in Richmond. If you have curly hair and haven't gone to see her for your haircut, coloring or styling needs you are missing out. I've seen her since I moved to Richmond and cant believe it's taken me this long to do a write up about her. She has helped me tackle in the last 2 years: post-partum hair - I'm talking 2 different textures of curls that were messing with my ability to style and manage my hair in generalCurly color - guiding me on my first ever journey to attempt curly color which can be so damaging for curls if not done right. I had my first appointment yesterday, and I had an amazing experience. The location is clean, inviting, and fun yet relaxing. Samantha was warm, friendly, and gentle throughout the visit. She corrected my cut to perfection! I can't wait to go back in a few months for a maintenance cut and perhaps color in the future. Highly recommend this curly stylist and salon, especially if you follow the IABGC haircare techniques/philosophy.
