After moving to Richmond in March 2022, I needed to (1) find somewhere to workout, and (2) somewhere to meet people. Maiden Motion is a magical place that has fulfilled both of these needs! It is genuinely a judgment-free community of empowered women who support one another… Anna has created a true Girl Power Paradise, and I’ve been a Maiden now for almost 2 years. Whether it’s barre, cardio dance or 305 Fitness (which are my favorites, though there are others!), classes acknowledge that not all bodies look and move the same. This studio celebrates women and provides a supportive environment to everyone who walks through the doors. Maiden Motion offers the best vibes - positive, inclusive, fun, and empowering. If you're looking for a girl power studio, you’ve come to the right place! After recovering from hip surgery, I started coming back to Maiden Motion classes which I attribute in part to my speedy recovery. The studio offers varied class options that are both challenging and fun! I look forward to themed classes and of course, anything TSwift related. Thank you Anna and the entire Maiden Motion staff for creating this wonderful community that I feel lucky to be part of!

Moving to Richmond for graduate school, I really wanted to find a gym that valued fun movement. The classes are not only fun, but I also found a community that helped Richmond feel like home. I felt so welcomed from the first class onwards, and I’m so excited to continue incorporating Maiden Motion into my rhythm in 2024 and beyond
