I support this company 110%, have seen them in action at Quantico National Cemetery as part of Saluting Branches. An Amazing crew, respectful of our Veteran Headstones while they trim/cut the trees, polite and well mannered.

Arborscapes provided the best experience one could hope for when losing a tree they have nurtured and enjoyed for decades. They were on time, and worked hard, safe, and smart for 2 days to remove our 128 yo tree. It was a huge tree and the process was incredible (although heart breaking) to watch. For those interested in the professionalism. The office personal was friendly and accommodating. Working hard to keep us on track for removal during a busy season of hurricanes and tornados in the area. They protected my elevated yard and cobble stone boarders from the heavy equipment traffic. They padded the ground where they would drop large pieces to prevent holes in the yard. They covered my ponds to protect them and the koi. They were also as friendly and considerate of neighbors and their property as they were of mine. At the end of each day they cleared the work area of all debris, large and small. I would highly recommend Arborscapes for advice and care of your trees, and removal should it come to that. I posted a short video on my page (10-17-18) of their incredible challenge on my facebook page 10-17-18. For those concerned about the cost. Rule #1: You get what you pay for! Especially with Arborscapes. Whereas other services had lower bids, Arborscapes was certainly not absorbent compared to some other popular providers that had comparable reputations. You should think outside the box when you are choosing. Consider the cost and the labor of repairs for other aspects of your landscape and property after the company leaves. What sealed my decision? Visiting providers websites allowed me to make an informative decision. Arborscapes website was very helpful. Meeting with a representative, one on one also helps in making an informed decision. I not only wanted that tree removed, but also wanted another huge oak tree inspected and its canopy balanced, thinned out and clean up. During the free estimate the Arborscapes representative took the time to explain and show me what they would do and how they would go about inspecting and making the canopy less top heavy. Out of 6 estimates, 2 came by looked at the trees and sent me an estimate, one of them didn’t even get out of the truck. Two others met with me, but they did not seem to be able to explain or have an affirmative action plan with regard to the living tree. Out of those four, only 2 where certified arborist. You need to speak a certified arborist if you are trying to save or maintain a living tree. I narrowed my choice down to 2 companies. Then I heard of a volunteer program for the Richmond Virginia school system to make the school grounds and play grounds safe and beautiful for the new school year. Arborscapes was among the volunteers. They’re sense of community pride and action of providing equipment, man and woman power and expertise tipped the scale in their favor. For those losing a beloved tree. Be prepared for change. This was a big emotional loss for my family. I can’t even count the endless dinners and gatherings at the table on the porch that was under its canopy. Only 18 inches from the porch roof and quickly dying, our friend became a threat and its demise was inevitable. This is the 5th day its been gone. My music studio on the second floor, which was often referred to as my tree-house (since I do not have a man-cave) is now bright with sunlight. Theres no longer a squirrel house in view and there will be no more nesting habits or litters to watch venture out onto the tree and roof for the first time. No more cats running to the window each time a acorn falls and rolls off. No more sound of rain on its thousands of leafs. It will be missed for a very long time. On the upside, half of this seasons leafs are already gone. But I think I might even miss raking them up from time to time. Thank you Arborscapes for keeping my family
