I have been taking my grandson to him for the past 15 of 16 years and he will not let anyone else cut his hair and He gives Rick a big hug when he is done. Thanks to me his grandma he is a big hugger. Rick is a swift and efficient barber. I am amazed how well he can use that knife to shave with too, mostly for the older guys.
I moved away from Dinwiddie eight plus years ago and had forgotten how uplifting a simple trip to the barbershop could be until today. In town for a memorial service for a friends mother, and I had to drop in on brother Rick. Watching him interact with two young boys as he cut their hair and the grandparents who brought them in was priceless. This guy loves everyone, and is a fantastic barber to boot. Your hair will be grown out in a few weeks, but you will remember how special you felt when you left his shop. Go see Rick!
I don't normally get compliments on my haircut but last week Rick did an exceptional job evidently! Two people, two ladies, commented very favorably on it. Rick is an excellent barber and an even better person! I highly recommend this location to anyone who needs a haircut.
