I have to say best great clips experience I've ever had. The conversation was great, my concerns were addressed, my needs were 'met. Tammy did a fabulous job, I went from hair down to my mid back to chin length hair. It's all even and folds under neath like I wanted. She was nice, sweet and very attentive. I would highly recommend her and am forever grateful for the exceptional customer service .
Firstly, I did not use the app to check in prior to arriving because I don't want to add another app to my phone, but checking-in in person works just fine, and I was prepared to wait. The staff was very pleasant at reception. I had not been to Great Clips before, but I decided to try them because I saw one of their ads that promoted their Clip Notes that they use to keep their customers' preferences. I liked this concept because I only go to the salon for a periodic buzz cut, and nearly every single time I am challenged on this and have to explain myself to stylists. This visit, I told the stylist exactly what I wanted, she confirmed, and she gave it to me. I didn't feel like I had to justify being a middle-aged woman requesting a buzz cut. She did a good job. She made nice conversation. It took a reasonable amount of time, and I felt comfortable. I cannot speak for styling so much, since my cut was so straightforward, but the people ahead of me all left looking nice. I didn't feel pushed upon with upselling of services or products, which I feel is the worst. (I'm just there because I can't buzz my own hair without looking like I've gotten my head stuck in a lawnmower.) In short, I felt comfortable and received the service I needed. Everyone was pleasant. It wasn't too loud. I like that they keep a file on your preferences attached to your phone number that you use to check in. I will return.
I had a lucky experience I suppose. Signed in online, arrived 20 mins early, and was taken back immediately. Hair stylist was friendly and quick. Would recommend. Everyone was nice.
