The facility is used by both Accomack and Northampton Counties. Customers praise the staff for their honesty, integrity, and efforts to ensure successful adoptions that are best for both the animals and families.
This is a great place for animals. They are taken care of and given updated vaccinations. They have their own space with beds , food, water, and sometimes treats. The dogs have fenced yard areas for fresh air and exercise. The cats have areas to play and exercise as well.
This facility works hard to help abandoned animals and those that have been surrendered for one reason or the other. Homes are found for the animals and that is such a wonderful thing. Many members of the community help by donating goods like dog and cat food, bedding, and other animal essentials. If you are looking to adopt Please contact the Eastern Shore Regional Animal Control. Jeri and her team made the adoption process so seamless and pleasant that we decided to adopt 3 young adult male cats instead of just one. She went above and beyond to make sure that everything checked out so my kitties were coming home to a safe place to live as well as making sure that I was adopting healthy babies. I cannot express how high of praise this facility deserves.
A very sad situation that all the animals are looking for their forever homes. But the temporary home they have there with all the hard working people taking care of them everyday, & night, trying to get them back on the right track from the life that they were living... So much love and time is spent with them It's a wonderful shelter! However ALL the dogs and cats deserve their forever home, second chance at life!
