I went to James River Derm and had Dr. White give me my first ever exam at age 51. I went because my primary recommended it at my age, not for any specific markings. Dr. White looked me over fast, which was off-putting to me at first, but after talking with some friends in the health care field, i was told this was normal. Dr. White had a biopsy sent out of a mole on my neck that ended up being stage 1 Melanoma! It’s quite possible he saved my life, so yeah… 5 stars.

I have no problem with staff. They have gone out of their way to help me. Dr Whie is very knowledgeable and informative. I would recommend them to anyone asking for a dermatologist.

I am really shocked by all the bad reviews. I have gone here for years, and no one has ever been rude or unprofessional towards me. The front desk is always friendly, and the dermatologist has always been nothing but professional.
