Great work Barbara and Charlotte! My son is 2 and doesn’t always warm to people, especially with haircuts. You guys are awesome. It takes a long time for me to find a place that does a great job on my beard. Thank you, always a pleasure.

I’ve been coming to Fades and Blades for a while now, and I must say the experience, talent and spirit in this place is phenomenal. I’ve never had a bad experience; it’s always been pleasant! Big shout out to Charlotte my stylist for always hooking me up, always making sure my hair is on point, remembering what I like when I don’t, and having conversations that are airy and funny. Charlotte is so good, I swear it’s magic and not well crafted and practiced technique. I come in embarrassed, and leave confident. 5 stars isn’t enough. 4 thumbs up and 10 stars for Charlotte and Fades and Blades Mechanicsville!!

My 2 year old has gotten his first and second haircuts at this barber shop and they were amazing each time. The first haircut looked so handsome despite how wiggly my kid was. Super impressive! Don’t remember who our stylist was, but she was lightning fast and she DID ?? THAT ??. We were in and out before my toddler even had a chance to figure out what was happening. For the second cut, he was crying and on the verge of a tantrum, but our stylist, Candace (Kandice?) got him through it and was incredibly patient. I don’t think I could have gotten him to calm down in that situation, and I’m his mom. On top of all that, she gave him a perfect haircut. I love you guys.
