Parents have reported remarkable progress in their children’s learning and focus, with one child going from frustration and disinterest in school to actively engaging in learning tasks. The therapists, including Sierra and Akeila, have been praised for their personalized and enjoyable approaches, which have helped children develop new skills and a love for learning. Families appreciate the welcoming atmosphere and the open communication with staff, making the therapy process enjoyable. Recent reviews highlight the professionalism and compassion of the staff, which helps visitors feel comfortable. One parent shared that their son enjoyed all the therapists he saw, especially Akeila, who worked at his pace, listened, and brought positive energy to each session. The child often talked about the fun activities they did during therapy, and the family felt grateful for the help received, though they felt bittersweet about ending the sessions. Another parent praised the progress of their daughter, who struggled with reading, tracking, writing, and headaches before therapy. After working with Dr. Tod Davis and the team for a year, her issues improved significantly, and she now rarely complains. The parent highly recommends the practice. One individual shared their personal journey of completing a 10-month therapy program. Starting with difficulties in clearing objects at 24 inches, they improved to just 1 inch. Diagnosed with convergence insufficiency at age 39, they found the experience eye-opening. Garrett, the therapist, was praised for his patience and personalized approach, along with Mackenzie and Anya, who are described as knowledgeable. The use of Syntonics with a green filter helped expand their visual field from closed to open and organized. The therapy also reduced anxiety, increased peripheral awareness, and improved eye movement control, all while learning along the way. As a neuro RN, the individual expressed a wish that such exercises were done in hospitals, appreciating the education gained through the process. They thanked Garrett and Dr. Davis for making the experience fun and rewarding.

My son had a wonderful experience at Virginia Vision Therapy. Every person we encountered was friendly and helpful. Kera, his therapist is a true professional. You can tell she truly enjoys what she does. My son was not excited about having to do vision therapy but all areas of his life have vastly improved. No more double vision, balance is better, and sports have become easier as well!
Informative, great communication
