The use of Syntonics with a green filter helped expand their visual field from closed to open and organized. As a neuro RN, the individual expressed a wish that such exercises were done in hospitals, appreciating the education gained through the process. They thanked Garrett and Dr. Davis for making the experience fun and rewarding.
I just completed my 10 month journey with VVTC. When I first started I wasn’t able to clear objects until 24 inches away and my last eval I was at 1 inch. I have had headaches since I was 10 and at 39 years old to be diagnosed with convergence insufficiency was eye-opening (pun intended). Garrett is the best and I will for sure miss him! He’s patient and directs therapy to meet all your needs! He also checks in on symptoms and provides doable homework. Mackenzie and Anya are also awesome and super knowledgeable. Syntonics was awesome, loved the green filter. I went from completely closed visual field to open and organized. Talk about a whirlwind process and it went by so fast! My anxiety has lessened, my peripheral awareness has increased, my visual field is open and organized, the ability to control my eye movement has improved and even learned along the way! As a Neuro RN, I wish we did these exercises in the hospital! I learned so much and educated others along the way. Thank you to Garrett and Dr Davis for being fun!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️I have suffered from dizziness, off balance sensations and extreme sensitivity to light with additional anxiety. In recent years it has gotten worse, until I came to Virginia Vision Therapy Center. After a thorough examination with Dr. Johnson, I was diagnosed with Convergence Insufficiency. I received vision therapy as well as syntonic phototherapy. Syntonics has helped with my sensitivity to bright lights so much that I can handle going outside without sunglasses and go into stores with bright fluorescent lights without having a mini panic attack. In addition, syntonics has lowered my anxiety. The vision therapists are wonderful! I was placed with Sameriah for most of my sessions and she truly cares about her patients and is very knowledgeable. If you are desperate for help, Dr. Johnson is the doctor for you. Besides being passionate about his field, He is genuinely interested in helping his patients overcome their problems.
The staff is very friendly and professional
