if I could give more stars I would. The vets here are unbelievably kind and understanding. We had to put our 36 year old horse down and they came out and made one of the hardest days my family has been through a lot easier. They also sent a card with hand written sorry for your loss note. You really can’t ask for better.
Recently made the switch from Woodside to Virginia Equine after using Woodside for 10 years… I was very anxious to do so, but should have made the switch much sooner! Dr. Niest is wonderful and very thorough - Highly highly recommend this practice!EDIT: Dr. Devaney is my regular vet and is literally the best vet I have ever come across in all my years of owning horses. His care and compassion and personal attention is literally second to none. Thank you so much for dealing with my anxious self when it comes to my beloved horse!
Called VE with an emergency as a new client as I had a neonatal foal needing to be seen ASAP to be able to get either treatment or a referral. They took me in within a hour. They not only helped come up with a game plan, referral, but the gentleness of the vets and technicians was extraordinary with the foal. I HIGHLY recommend this group of individuals.
