Hammerdown did a fantastic job on our large deck! They came out to access what boards would need to be replaced, they thoroughly power-washed everything, ripped up and disposed of the old and replaced with new wood. The carpentry was done beautifully and precisely and the final stain was excellent. I highly recommend this company.
Hammerdown came and took a look at my deck, where the stairs had started to sag. The problem was a 6x6 post that had rotted at the base. Jonathan addressed the situation, applied a fix and restored my stairs in less than a day.
Along the way, Jonathan also identified that my A/C unit was not level, which he noted can cause the bearings to wear out prematurely. On the way out, after what was a hard job to address, he offered a hand in getting it square. You don't get that kind of service and willingness to help from many companies, and I was thoroughly impressed with their work.

Have used Jonathan's company for two jobs and was very pleased with both. He powerwashed a fence; and then powerwashed, sanded, stained and otherwise repaired a deck that had been neglected. He was prompt, communicated very well, was attentive to details, and his charges were very reasonable. I will keep Hammerdown in mind for other jobs.
