One of the best places in VA & on the east coast for a horse show!! State of the art facility. Great footing in all of the arenas. So glad that they're updating the stall fronts and eventually adding stall mats to all of the stalls.
We have been attending the Lone Star Rodeo for quite a few years now making it such a fun family tradition. The Virginia Horse Center is a great facility for this event...Parking can be exciting...plan for quite a bit of extra time afterwards to get out of the lot.The only drawback I have seen is the water fountains are either broken or turned off. Guess that's on purpose so you have to buy bottled water.
First visit. It's a beautiful complex. My granddaughter had a softball tournament. It was "dusty" which is expected. I can't imagine it during a horse show. I'm not saying this to be negative, just to let others know in case you have breathing issues. I have asthma. Maybe bring a face covering.
