King William Coin Laundry is a nice, clean, and uncrowded place. It features local art, contemporary Christian music, and many amenities. These include restrooms, seating, snack and coin exchange machines, and wide folding tables. For children, there is a huge chalkboard, a play kitchen, and a stack of books. The staff is great. However, frequent issues with the change machine are frustrating, and some note a recent reduction in dryer time for the same price. The business opens and closes promptly.
Love it here but it’s ridiculous that every time we come there’s something wrong with the change machine. I called last time and he was great to come fix it (was after 8pm and had been to 2 different banks thinking it was my cash) but now for a 3rd time this month? I will just have to travel further.. great staff and music. Just can’t continue to do the run around for change.
This is a nice, clean place to do your laundry. It's not crowded, you can usually find a working machine, and they offer a coin exchange machine. They feature local art pieces in their decor, and pipe contemporary Christian music over the house speakers. There's restroom facilities, places to sit while waiting on your clothes to finish, and a snack machine. The middle of the room hosts many nice, wide, folding tables. For the kiddos, there's an entire wall that's basically a huge chalkboard and a basket of colored chalk rests beneath it on the floor. Additionally, the youngsters have a full play kitchen with all the accessories needed to "cook mom a great meal" while she waits! And if none of that interests you, there's a large stack of children's/junior books in that same area that's sure to tempt the 'tweens! They open promptly and close promptly so time yourself accordingly. This place is great and obviously ran by some great people!
Good customer service. Customers are nice also. Just wish they would adhere to policy. 2 teenagers just sitting, eating, on computer for 3 hours while I was there without masks and one hacking the whole time I was there and not covering it up. No parents.
