I just wanted to say how proud I am to be a part of such a well-balanced operation. I've been working with horses for over 40 years & I've never been to a barn so quiet & issue-free.My daughter has been riding for several years when she took a lesson with Miss Debbie. Zoe learned more in just 15 mins of her lesson than she has in a whole year at another barn!!!Lantern Lane is warm, welcoming, super clean (I thank u?) & a plethora of knowledge for gentle, thorough, & still classical horsemanship... My kids loved every minute of their first lesson. Ms Debbie the owner and Ms Jane were absolutely brilliant with the kids. They both were extremely gentle, gave kids lots of attention and most importantly their teaching method and communication skills were second to non.
My 9-year-old just did a week of camp at Lantern Lane and it was absolutely the best horse camp experience she’s had so far (and she’s been to three different camps at various barns in the area). Jane and her daughters were knowledgeable, friendly, welcoming, and just generally lovely. The owner, Debbie, was also very kind and was there, helping out on the final day when the kids got to show us what they had learned during the week. In addition to riding, my daughter and the other 3 kids in the camp really learned to care for the horses. They mucked stalls, refilled hay, and learned about horses.
