Went to the ER with chest pain and was quickly brought back and examined. That part was great. They then gave me 50 mg of Hydroxyzine in combination with Lorazepam and forgot about me for an hour. I had to get anti-nausea because I was so loopy from the meds and they had me DRIVE MYSELF HOME. I’m no doctor, but I know you aren’t supposed to combine sedatives and have the patient drive home.
We have received excellent care from this hospital beginning with the ER, to our week long stay and finally the surgical unit. The staff are very caring, compassionate and knowledgeable. We are very blessed to have such a wonderful hospital close by.
While wearing bright green socks, hiking boots, and a gown open to the back, the staff does its best to treat me like a bejeweled-gown-wearing celebrity. This facility is the most gentle and kind when doing procedures that make me feel exposed and ridiculous. Thank you. The drive is worth it.
