Treated my alpha gal.... was eating steak again with no side effects after a few weeks. Got bit AGAIN... and the treatment once again helped reduce symptoms so that I can eat mammal products.
Side note: I haven't had to take antihistamines for my hay fever any more either.
Dr Ken treated me for alpha gal 14 months ago. I originally did it to help with cross contamination. However immediately I was able to go back to having dairy which I was thankful for as I was reacting to it also. It’s been 14 month and called Dr Ken for another treatment so I could try meat. We spoke and what he said makes sense as we don’t really know where I stand because I haven’t had red meat in 14 month. He recommended trying a tiny piece of meat to see where I’m at. I did this and kept increasing it. Well I since had a great holiday and this week had fillet mignon twice this week with no reaction. I could not speak more highly of The Harbour Clinic. WOW! First, let me speak on Ken, who treated me for my allergies. I became extremely allergic to both gluten and soy in my early twenties and had tried everything to get rid of these allergies and nothing worked. I had met Ken at my local grocery store where he told me about the SAAT treatment that he does at his clinic with high success. Ken is an extremely upstanding, genuine, and honest man, and I could not speak more highly of him. As of writing this, I have not had the chance to speak with his wife Diana much, but she also seems like a very lovely woman.
