After trying another doggy daycare that just wasn’t the right fit, we were lucky enough to cross paths with the owner of Four Paws—and we couldn’t be more grateful! Now, every time we step outside, Daisy races to the car, absolutely thrilled to go back.
We felt completely confident leaving her in the care of the amazing staff while we were on vacation. Their love for the animals in their care is so genuine—they treat each one like their own. The energy here is always positive, and it’s clear how much they truly care.

Scrappy's senior wellness visit at Ridge Animal in Farmville, under the care of Dr. Kellum, was exceptionally well-handled given his extreme anxiety about vet visits. To mitigate his stress, the day began with a gentle approach, including a courtesy visit to the vet, confirmation of the 10am appointment, and a weight check, followed by a break for breakfast. A walk on the High Bridge Trail provided additional relaxation before the appointment. Normally, Scrapy transforms into a grizzly bear or T-Rex at the vet, but this time, thanks to Dr. Kellum's empathetic approach and her team's ability to manage Scrappy's needs, the visit was a standout success. Scrapy even enjoyed socializing with the team afterward, marking a significant improvement from past visits.
Totally enjoy Amy, she is always personal and professional. His whole staff are pleasant and easy to work with.
We had such a great experience with our pet sitter! Kat was always prompt and communicated wonderfully, letting me know when she was on her way and when she was leaving each visit. She took excellent care of both my cat and dog every day and went above and beyond by sending lots of pictures and videos, which gave me so much peace of mind. I could truly tell my pets were well loved and well cared for. I would highly recommend Kat to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter!

Gretchen was absolutely wonderful. She took her time. Usually you leave a spray tan feeling sticky and gross. Nope! She made sure I was completely dry. I have had many spray tans in my time and I will without a doubt be back and would 100% recommend Gretchen. Her salon is so cute, trendy and clean. I can't say enough great things about Rohr Mechanical. We had a huge electrical issue at our house and they responded quickly and figured out the issue. Two days of immediately jumping on the problem and even staying three hours beyond their closing time so we could get back our lights and AC during a week when the heat index was well over 100 degrees. Everything is back on and their work was top notch and believe it or not they were very reasonable. We are so happy and pleased with their work that I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone I know. These guys are the best and we are so pleased with their work.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Estes Roofing. We've worked with them twice in the past year. We had water coming into our kitchen. Estes Roofing was able to work with us through American Home Shield. They were on time, wonderful to talk to, explained what they needed to do, and gave us a perfect picture of how everything was going to happen with both the job and American Home Shield.Recently, we had another leak from a heavy rain come in from our chimney. We requested to work with them again. They came out and patched what needed to be patched all within the remaining deductible.I love knowing I have honest contractors I can call, and I will make sure they are our first phone call when we need roofing work.
I can’t say enough wonderful things about Christina at Rochette’s Florist! She did the flowers for my son’s wedding, and everything was absolutely stunning. She listened carefully to what the bride and groom wanted and then went above and beyond to make it all come to life.
The arrangements were absolutely breathtaking — so fresh, colorful, and beautifully designed. Every detail, from the bouquets to the centerpieces, was perfect. We received so many compliments from guests about how gorgeous the flowers were.
It's been almost a week and everything STILL looks fantastic!

Mary never disappoints! My hair looks and feels better than when I was 20yrs old. (Not telling my age but you can add 30+ to get it- LOL). Salon is clean, neat, and tidy. Always a friendly and welcoming environment.

This was actually my 4th time here and every time I leave so thankful. Start to finish it's always a great experience. They have the most kind and accommodating office manager! I have very complicated vision, astigmatism, different rx in each eye, migraines, family history of going blind, and almost impossible to prescribe contacts. Both doctors go above and beyond to get me the right bifocal prescription and contact lenses. I've gone to other Farmville optometrists bc my insurance was accepted, only to return to Future Sight within months because their prescriptions were terrible. I've been meaning to leave a 5 star review for quite some time, because every time I leave with my new prescription, it is literally life changing.

If you’re looking for a highly skilled and personable dentist in Farmville, look no further. I’m thankful to have connected with this dental office late last year, and today was my second visit here. This was a cleaning visit. Dental assistant Anna did a wonderful job of cleaning my teeth using dental tools and a special paste or pumice. Then Dr. Johnson came in to verify the condition of my teeth. Thankfully, I’ve been brushing and flossing on a daily basis, and that attention paid off. Cavity free this visit!

He upgraded my slow and unusable laptop and now it runs lighting fast! It’s like a completely different machine after he upgraded the RAM, replaced the damaged hard drive with a SSD, and removed all the unnecessary manufacturer’s software that was hurting its performance. Very fair price, excellent customer service, and he works very fast! I’ve been here several times, and this is the only place I will be bringing any of my equipment in the future! Highly recommend!

$50 + tip for an acrylic fill-in and color redo. Service was pretty good and fast, the only reason I subtracted 1 star is due to the house flies. There was a few bothersome house flies I had to swat away during the process. Other than that, great!
I didn’t catch his name but I have not gotten my nails done in two years. He did an amazing job and made me feel so comfortable. He was very nice and had great vibes! I’m new to the area but this will definitely be my go to guy! 10/10. FAST TOO. didn’t have to wait.
